Excursions and activities

We will organise excursions and activities to your particular taste.

So if you are interested in looking at historic towns and cities we can take you to places such as Cambridge, Ely, Lavenham and Saffron Walden. Or you may like the idea of lazing in a punt being chauffeured down the 'Backs' watching Cambridge's riverside colleges drifting by, or even having a go at punting yourself. Maybe you would like to see some of the wonderful stately homes that we have to offer, such as Wimpole Hall, Audley End House or Kentwell House. Perhaps a day at the races, or visiting some of our world famous museums. Whatever you would like to do, we will arrange it for you, and supply you with the transport to get you there and back.

If you don't fancy the sightseeing and want to spend some time in the countryside, then we can arrange circular walks or cycle rides, (taking in refreshment along the way, of course), or take you to the beginning of a longer walk or ride and collect you when you have had enough. We have several long distance footpaths, like the ancient Icknield Way in the vicinity. Almost anything that you would like to do, we can arrange AND IF YOU HAVE CHOSEN THE 'ALL-ARRANGED, ALL INCLUSIVE PACKAGE' IT'S ALL INCLUDED IN THE PRICE!   (Other guests can also enjoy these facilities by individual arrangement).
